CDI Government Services has openings for PROCUREMENT EXPEDITORS for a long term assignment in the Baltimore area.
The position requires a general knowledge of the purchasing function and an overall understanding of web-based systems. Candidate will be responsible for gathering information, addressing general procurement issues, insuring credibility of delivery dates and updating SAP system. Other responsibilities will include maintaining two-way communication between both, client and the suppliers regarding concerns that are impacting shipments. Individual must have good oral and written communication skills and the ability to maintain strong rapport with the internal and external customers. Must be multi-task oriented in a fast-paced environment and able to interact effectively at all levels. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with SAP is required.
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management or Business Administration, and (2-5) years Buying Experience.
CDI conducts background screening and deug testing for these positions. The client requires US citizenship for facility access.
