CDI Government Services has a need for a Systems Engineering - System Safety Engineer on an assignment on the Baltimore Area. You will develop and implement systems safety programs. Identify potential hazards and establish, document, and track design criteria. Conduct trade studies and analyses independently and as part of the design team. Plan, conduct, and document safety analyses: Preliminary Hazard Analyses, System/Subsystem Hazard Analyses, Operation and Support Hazard Analyses, Fault Tree Analyses, Software Hazard Analyses, and Environmental Impact Analyses. Track and resolve hazards, utilizing hazard databases. Plan for, conduct, and report safety tests. Background in user interface design desirable. Safety certification or progress towards same highly desirable. Minimum BS in an Engineering discipline with at least 5 years Systems Safety design experience required. You must have a Systems Safety Engineer Certification.

Drug Testing, background checks and a active clearance are required to access the client facility. US Citizenship is needed to have this clearance.
